So would their 5000K bulb not have the bounce?

Can't confirm that. You'll have to wait for XD to chime in.

Installed the XD 5000k a few days ago. Have not noticed any bounce yet but have not had much time on the road. Looking forward to this weekends road trip. Planning on reporting back with my findings.

Still no bouncing with mine, they are amazing. Way better light output then my wife’s Subaru Outback with OEM LED headlights.

I had already watched that video and didn’t see anything abnormal. The cut line dips when the truck dips.

See the lights fluttering in the video? That's the shake. I do not notice this with my morimoto hid kit.

I've had the XD 5000 bulbs in for almost 3 months with no shaking. they fit so tight you need pliers to turn them in to seat all the way. Great products

I recently installed this kit with the 4500K Phillips bulbs and the bulbs are very tight in the housing and there is no shaking.

It's not you, it's us. We hijacked your tread.

It was a thorough review FWIW.

Sorry to hear that some of you are still experiencing this "bounce" issue which seems to be isolated to a few cases with random bulbs. Based on the feedback we have, I would still say the "bounce" is a result of having increased light output right at the cutoff. If there is any vibration in the projector itself then a thicker grommet may not always help. These are the brightest upgrade bulbs you can get, so if you're going to see any shake you'll notice it with these.

I did just now. I had to force youtube to 1080p and watch more carefully.

This issue is caused by shaking or a power issue? I saw no such issue with the Morimoto HIDs I had in my 2017 Tacoma, but I sold it a few months after they were installed.

The thicker orings helped, it's not rock solid but I think I could live with them since its only noticeable on rough dirt roads. The output is sweet tho.

I'm glad to hear the thicker o-rings helped in your case!

Glad to hear you like the output! Please send us a PM so that we can further help you out with this.
