Having the same problem with my 2010, only difference is the fan speed dial does not work at all now. Temp and air positioning dial still works but no light at all. Ac/Heat also works but I can't use it due to the fan speed dial not working. I have taken it apart and the connections were are still in great shape and even inside the dial was in great shape except a little bit of old grease from factory with I cleaned and replaced, just reinstalled and still nothing. Anybody had this problem?? 30° here and its like my heat is just taunting me in the mornings on the way to work

Does it work on High only. Common issue is the blower motor resistor.

I would start at the connector to the resistor of the blower motor stated above, pull it apart and see if it is burned. Then work toward the blower motor itself. The blower motor has a long history.

Do you have any kind of electrical testing equipment?

My bet is the blower motor is toast.

Bingo! Now go to the other end of the wire where it plugs into the resistor, unplug and check that one as well.

When that happened to me, it was the resistor pack. It worked on high only. I removed the resistor pack, found nothing wrong with it, and re-installed it. Worked for a while but then stopped again. I reseated the resistor pack in the connector and it worked again. Basically a loose plug caused the failure. On a 2009 it's EZ to get to the resistor pack under the dash on the passenger side.

The resistor was fried about a year ago on my 2013, I replaced it and it worked great , until a couple days ago and it's doing the same thing, works on hi only.
I was talking to the parts guy where I got the resistor and he said my blower motor is probably going and drawing more current, causing the resistor to fry.
I'm probably going to just replace the blower motor and resistor rather than keep spending $40 on the resistor.

Make sure to check the plugs on the harness side to make sure they aren't burnt up as well.

    **UPDATE**
Took out my resistor connector and the the resistor, neither of which were burnt. I'm going to replace them anyways. The only connection that was burnt was the one see above that powers the blower motor. I'm also going to replace that. Hopefully my blower motor just went out. This is probably why my fan dial do not work at all, not even high which seems it usually does when you have a bad resistor

Did you check both connectors for burned and loose fitting pins?

Your blower motor doesn't work because the burned connector. The burning is caused by a lose connection between the male and female terminal. This loose connection has a high resistance which is a heater. The heat causes the terminals to get looser over time and more resistance and more heat ... Replace the burned connector and you should be good.

Does a working blower spin free if you try to spin it with your hand? If so mine is locked up
