I did, but now I'm seriously considering playing for my school . I wouldn't play though. We were undefeated last year, but most graduated.

 

Fawk!! I was hoping for it to go to a penalty shootout. Oh well there's always next four years.

ummm.... just my .02 but i think mexico is going to get killed tomorrow by argentina, and I have a feeling germany is going to beat england.

 

Man this blows, I though USA would at least beat Ghana. I guess soccer will never pick up here in the states. Thats the way its always going to be only reaching pass the first round. It felt good to win at least that though. I just hope people here would give this awesome sport and the players the respect it deserves and we would get more scholarships for soccer that way our team would be better GO USA

i remember during the south korean game (had a bunch of angry koreans at my house after that game ) anyway, the announcer dude was talking about how the US should just need to take care of business with Ghana. thats such a stupid thing to say, and i really wanted the US to win but oh well.

I think this is pretty much what you would call "Putting on a clinic." Even with the goal that didn't get whistled...Germany has been throttling this game back and forth. They took it down a bit to far and the English scored...and then they dialed it back up.

Wow! England got picked apart by that German offense huh. They were robbed of their second goal but not that it really mattered in the end. FIFA really needs to do something about goal line technology.

I'm rooting for Mexico next game but I have a feeling Argentina's gonna take this one.

 

Man Mexico got handled by Argentina 3-1. Fifa needs to do something about these refs that keep missing calls. First they rob USA for 2 goals, then they rob one from England but they give one to Argentina which was totally offsides. Someone smack these guys

 

You said it. Goal line technology at least...and really they need to get up to speed with instant replays. The whole world saw that it was clearly a goal for about 6 different angles within a minute of it happening. There is no reason the refs can't take a minute to look over it and make sure they aren't blowing the game.
