Why would anyone want that shit? The OEM Toyota incline-meters were kind of cool, but they're kind of a gimick designed to make women who don't know any better wet while some some poor bloke that's driving her to Applebee's has something to talk about.

Sounds like you and my dad could talk for hours on end. He used to bring home old wiring diagrams for us kids to color on cause they were so big and I thought nothing of it. Hes built/been through/tested/certified hundreds of instrument panels across all makes. Boeing, Airbus, McDonnell Douglas, etc..

Nope, super stat, looks very stant like and the name makes me think it might be but it doesn't have the stant logo on it. Either way it worked exactly as it should. The saf-t-stat is a scam, it just means if it breaks while open it won't close, but if it breaks while closed it still won't open haha.

Yeah I was hesitant about it. But Ive spent enough money on this truck this year anyhow, gotta take a break and drive the damn thing lol. Gonna go OEM on the stat when and if I replace it. Napa for the hoses. Maybe sometime this spring.

The OEM stat is good and I'm fairly sure it is a stant haha. Super easy to change a stat on the 4banger which is nice. I have an OEM one in right now.

I mainly just wanna flush the coolant out and replace it. The previous owner seemed to only do oil changes, and only at quick-e-lube at that. The drain plug gasket looked like it had never been changed and took some scraping to get its remnants off the pan. He even traded it in with the original tires still on it at 13 years and 46k miles, dealer put new ones on to sell it. I'm surprised he took it to the dealer to get the frame sprayed, as that's the only dealership service record it had until I got it.

Mine was much like that and was traded in because the head had cracked from the owner letting it go too long without a valve job. New head and she's been good as new and gets regular fluid changes.
