    SOLD

Dunno if any of you are interested but I am selling my HHA Optimizer Lite single pin sight! Only used once in the field. Love the thing but 1) selling the bow it was on and 2) need the money to put towards the holiday season. Great condition, never dropped! Has the sticker I used for my bow on it still, but has all the other stickers as well as the sight in stickers. Instructions and bolts included. $90 shipped to your door. Let me know!

I don't think people realize how much of the deer gets covered up by the line of pins and the arms that hold them on. One pin is so much better for seeing your target. I keep it at 25 yards and adjust only if its over 30 yards or under 20 yards. I'll keep in touch if no one buys it.

Yeah for my elk hunt I just kept it at 25 too, If coming in fast too I knew how much lower or higher I needed to place the sight too.

    Sounds good man!

Ok so bow season has passed and I decided to sell my bow in the hopes of purchasing another one in late spring. Then I see three large doe in my backyard but can’t fire a rifle due to closeness to neighboring homes. What to do what to do. Picked up a new triax this evening and all I can say is wow. Smooth as butter.

That’s the bow I considered buying. I have a short axle to axle on mine and that’s what I like about the Triax. It’s the shortest bow they have come out with in years.

That’s was a major consideration for me as some of the land I hunt we are outfitting with 6x6 blinds with limited height

Congrats on starting to bow hunt! Hunting is a lifetime of learning. I pay close attention to everything when i'm out hunting you can learn something new everytime you're out. I'm guessing they don't allow you use your bow during gun season? I can hunt with my bow during gun season as long as i have a bow license. I can't take both out at the same time tho

So...jumping into the thread here in bow season :cookiemonster:

Matthews pays the most $ of any brand to advertise.... There’s a lot of other bows out in similar size, speed, even 32” ATAs come up near same size as that Triax or 2” of total size due to cam angles. I’d try a bunch of different bows out and see what works the best without a brand in mind.

I had upgraded from my 1999 PSE Nova and am used to the round cams and really didn’t like some of the newer bows. I tried a bunch of bows out and chose a Hoyt Hyperforce. I actually liked the Mission MXR a little better than the Triax, plus it’s 1/2 the price...

There is no upgrade from a PSE. Just kidding, but I do love them.

Yeah. Old nova still shoots well, but I about doubled my KE with my new rig. I unfortunately couldn’t find a shop nearby that has carries PSE bows to try out.

I keep eyeballing all these new bows but I just can’t get myself to get rid my 1999 Matthews Classic. I actually sold it a few years ago and then bought it back because I like it so much.

I've had one Hoyt and 6 PSE's. Hoyts are great bows but PSEs feel right in my hand. I think pretty much all companies make good bows now, the rest is just personal preference. Enjoy your new bow!

There are a lot of great bows. I stick with Matthews because of my dealer. He always take care of me. The big box stores sell good bows too but I just don’t know about the employee skills as far as service. It seems like they have a different bow tech every year.
