Went to see a building for the new business today. Showed up 30 minutes early. I called the guy at the time we were supposed to be meeting and got his voicemail. 20 minutes later I got a call back and he said “it’s not going to be a good fit”. Meanwhile I heard plates and a waitress in the background. How’s a bedliner company spraying 90% new vehicles not a good fit when there’s a transmission shop and an off-road shop in the same complex? Why do people have to be such tools?

Fought with the wind, which the weather station was not reporting - had to change 3 month old batts already. Two Hibiscus pots decided to try swimming. They looked happy in the deep end, but got them out anyway. A challenge in the wind to get the old cover back on the greenhouse, but got it did. One more to go up tomorrow - I have two now, or as the wife says, TOO MANY HIBISCUS! Got a warm shower and made our Mexican Happy Hour early dinner.



Empty, but I should have mucked it out. Too much rain last night.


I thought I would be parasailing!

If you mean me, I used to do this whole swap process in one day. And, I actually have everyday off! Now, I am sluffing. I have until Monday night I think to get everyone in. I will have to put off trimming them all (for more cuttings) until after Thanksgiving. But there will likely be several good December days... (I Hope!)

 

Well back to my van down by the river tomorrow 0530-1900
The good new is im working the following 6 days at my normal posts.

3hrs It's 5:43pm now

 

My best friend does the exact same thing but his green house has glass panels. I think he may have acrilic cut to replace the glass next year.

 

I should go to bed. Gotta be awake at 0400
