That's awesome. I bet he probably was/is in some sort of svc. He needs to join the Wildland fire crew and be a smoke jumper with balls like that. That's some stories my uncle would tell when he was one. Those guys are nuts. Hats off to the dude! I would keep the truck as is except replace the lights of course since those scars are going to tell a cool story. Maybe buy stock in airfresheners though since it probably smells like a campfire in the truck now.

 

Toyota should give him a new truck and put that one somewhere on display.
