If only that worked in real life. I was stuck in a line behind some fucker doing 5-10 under the speed limit on the 14 miles from 301 to my house. Not to mention all the people in the left lane on 301 that pace the slow lane at 60-65 when everyone else is trying to do 70, but that's a normal everyday thing. I've started seriously considering some sort of siren horn/PA for the WRX to start encouraging people to clear the lane. :turtleride: :brianr:

What year Wrx do u have? I just sold my 2006 limited stage 2 Cobb. Had it for 9 years. The thing was immaculate and only had 69,xxx miles, no snow or rain

It's a 2017. I bought it in Sept 2016, and I'm already at 34,645. Only mods so far are Rokblokz, shifter bushing, short shift plate, and wheels. If I keep it as long as my Tacoma, I'm sure it will end up with full bolt ons and tuned. Who knows maybe even a built motor and bigger turbo. It's plenty fast for me right now though, so I'm avoiding anything that 'requires' a tune until I pay off the loan. I'll be looking at new tires come the spring.

Put on white line sways front and back. I think 22mm and 24mm. I can look it up but that makes a huge difference. Downpipe is also a kick in the pants with the proper tune and then the rest of the exhaust. But the D/P is quick gains. Mach V out in chantilly is amazing for tunes

    Here’s mine

Yeah. I replaced the rear sway bar on my car back in college that I autocrossed, and it was a huge improvement. I'm not exactly sure what path I want to take with upgrades at this point. I'm pretty sure that I'm not going to lower it anytime soon (or ever) just because the roads out here are so shitty. I scrape at stock height if I pull into my driveway fast enough and there are a couple intersections that I drive pretty regularly where I can bottom out if I hit them fast enough.

I bought my wheels from Mach V and had them install them.

Sway bars to reduce body roll would be a good idea and coilovers at stock height with stiffer springs might be cool. I need to schedule an oil change in the next week or two, and I need to talked to them about a couple of TSBs when I have the car at the dealership. One of them being the TOB. :anonymous:

Not sure about the newer Wrx’s , but even Cobb stage 1 tune made a HUGE difference in driveability in my 2006. Eliminated a lot of lag, and made acceleration much smoother. I think the current wrx is the 2.0?

Yeah, the new WRX is the FA20DIT. Direct injection 2.0L. Not not really much lag, but I've read a lot that a tune helps a lot with some drivability quirks. There's a lot of rev hang, especially in the 1-2 shift that a tune can get rid of. They have a built in Hill Assist that holds the brakes when you're on a hill. It can be a pain in the ass, and it seems that most people turn it off. I've had mine turned off for at least a year now.

Any recommended/reputable shops to get the truck undercoated? Another thing I should have done prior to leaving but ran out of time... I asked the wife if she or any of the guys at her stations had recommendations. Waiting to hear back but anyone on here have any recommendations?

To my fellow Marines. I want to wish you all a Happy Birthday. It’s an honor and a privilege to be part of a family that can never be taken away from you. A family that ALWAYS has your back. SEMPER FI!!!!

To everyone on here who served in the military. Happy Veterans Day. I dont care what branch you were in. Your still family. If you never served please take some time to thank a veteran for their service. They earned it. And last but not least. Let’s take a moment this weekend to honor our fallen. They are the ones who paid the ultimate sacrifice. Our true heroes.

Was thinking about messing around at sleepy creak, but I'm open to other spots. I've never been to flagpole

Flagpole is actually pretty easy. If you put it into google maps with meadow knob as a stop it will take you the harder way
