I have a few pistols I would like to sell on gun broker. Is this really easy to do? I understand that they need to be shipped from a FLL.

My advice: Unless they are something exceedingly rare or valuable, find an FFL to sell consignment or sell local.

Gunbroker is like Ebay when selling, ie its much better for the buyer. You will have an easier time if doing a face to face in your state (if legal) or using a shop to sell for you. Many shops will even consign on Gunbroker for you.

I've sold a few things on gunbroker. Just factor in your ffl and shipping fee into the price, gunbroker i think takes 4%. I would not do a buy it now because there is another higher fee for BIN.

Armslist has been better for local sales for me.

What are you selling? PM me

Armslist for local, face to face sales for common things. Gunbroker for more rare, expensive items. I've bought and sold from both many times. I prefer armslist first for face to face sales. Some of my guns were more collectible/small niche expensive guns and gunbroker gave me a much larger audience.

Yes a few are sought after pistols. The best one I have is a prewar S&W masterpiece.22lr shipped in 1941. Only 1067 were made. I’m not a collector and I have a 1/2 dozen other 22 pistols so I thought maybe I would sell this one. I will ask first on the S&W forum.

I've sold on GB before......be advised of the listing fee...even if you don't sell it

correct me if wrong....do you belong to any on line gun forums ?

24HR Campfire is good......but newbies selling guns are under the microscope...

    Been a few scammers over there....you can advertise locally......do a FTF sale......but

my advise in today's world..especially with handguns...sell through an FFL so the buyer must

have a back ground check done....your name is attached to that serial number on the weapon

New buyer does something bad with weapon....you'll be getting a visit from the ATF...seriously

Armslist ? I'd stay away from there......
