Why not tint the whole windshield? Made a huge difference on my truck and passed inspection easily.

I had the brow on mine along with a 70% ceramic tint. They had to redo the 70% due to a hair getting under the tint when they put it in and i had them leave the brow off. I found myself constantly ducking to look under it at night.

I have always been a proponent of window tints on vehicles (the aesthetic, the privacy, the shade, the UV protection) and for me, a visor tint strip both complements and completes a full window tint job. In fact, I personally prefer a 'dual stirp windshield tint' (ie. visor + dash strips).

The most crucial aspect to consider (as several posts here have mentioned) is your line of visibility (with the visor strip tint). For example, if I were to personally place a visor strip tint on the 3rd Gen. Tacoma, it would look most aesthetically correct (to me) if the lower arch of the tint was to pass no less than about 3mm below the lower limit of the mount boundary (that entire black section as can be seen from the outside of the vehicle) of the rearview mirror and Toyota Safety Sense P (TSS-P) Pre-Collision System camera unit.

For me, this location of the tint is just above my line of sight with me sitting in the correct driver position, and may be an inconvenience that I can only truly understand once the tint is installed. At such a point, I would have to weigh my desires for the tint, the function vs. inconvenience, as well as the safety (line of sight)... Knowing me though, I would probably put up with the torture of suboptimal line of sight placement, for the sheer joy of having an aesthetically complete tint job... Or, maybe accept raising the tint (irrespective of mount boundaries) so as to attain the best of both worlds.

Ultimately, it is all up to personal preference and sadomasochistic tendencies.

If its included, then get it. If you dont like it, just peel it off. Glue comes off easy with a razor blade and windex

I voted Yes. Just make sure it doesn't go lower than the go-pro mount for a dash cam!

My truck came with really dark tint and the brow. Every time I get in it feels claustrophobic. I've had this truck for maybe a month and I still duck down because of the brow. I'm seriously considering removing all the tint but I'm trying to keep an open mind until next summer. When it's 115 degrees outside I may feel different. I must add that your results may differ than mine due to being in a regular cab.

I moved to AZ with a car without tint. My advice is DONT DO IT. You’ll regret it. Maybe get a lighter tint but man, it’s something you definitely want to have in the summer

Yeah all my vehicles have/had tinting, but the tint that came with this one(bought used) is really dark. I sometimes feel unsafe driving at night. So far it's not been a too much of a problem as the weather is nice enough to leave the windows open.

Had mine installed last month even though the rest of my windows were done in 2017. I'm happy I had mine done. I don't have to use my sunvisor as much and I feel any extra protection for my skin is a benefit. Plus I like that it matches the vent shades look on my side windows.

I used to do the banners on my cars back in the 90's. Definitely a great way to get pulled over and ticket here in Socal. Better off doing a tint that you can see through. Ducking to see your stop lights is a real PITA anyways when using a banner.

The visor tint makes me think of a 1980’s IROC with a dude wearing an acid wash jean jacket and wearing knock off Oakley blades sunglasses. While he’s picking up he’s girlfriend named Deborah.
