I’m looking into upper control arms and realize Black Friday sales are right around the corner
Which brand do you guys reccomend? Looking to stay within the price point of these two

King ext, res/adj...3leaf Aal. ECGS bushing. Bullaculla relocate bracket. Pelfrey bilt skids. TC UCA. K+N, Weathertech Mats, TRD side steps, BROV Tacoma Attic, Prinsu Cabrac, TRD OR Tow Hook
I don’t have anything to compare it to. But I have total chaos UCA. Work awesome . Easy to maintain .

Looking to stay with a ballpoint upper control arm vs a uni ball. Little worried about the north east winters tearing them up

I wouldnt bother with a uniball.

The two I would recommend you have pics of; SPC and JBA. I run SPC myself and they are flawless. Just need something rugged and low maintenance. There’s nothing sexy about UCA.

    Working on it
I ran LR on my 2nd gen, have JBA on my 3rd gen.

They both work. They both let you get good alignments.

It looks like there is more adjustability with Light Racing UCAs than others. My brother in-law just maxed his camber setting on the lowers and was able to pull the front wheel away from the cab mount enough to not need the CMC with 285s. He was able to get the camber into spec after and gained a ton more travel and clearance. Not a Light Racing salesman, just something I noticed.

I went with Camburg UCA with Moog ball joints. I am very happy with them.

Camburg makes a throwdown set of UCAs, good choice.

JBA all the way, i love mine. Plus they use the ball joint out of a half ton GM truck so parts are easy to come by if need be. Alignment is spot on as well (3” lift with 3.5* of caster at 0* of camber and toe)

I’ve put my SPCs thru some stuff. Easy to get camber adjustment. Replacement ball joints are cheap ($80) and their customer service is pretty good too

JBA use OEM Chevy but how reliable is Chevy? Coming from a guy with a Caddy Cts-V.

Either one are a good option. I run spc myself.

SPC is a solid choice, well built, highly adjustable, priced right.
