I would peel all that silicone off that area and run the boost line up through there
and keep the controller in the engine Bay Area. I also would use the stock intake plastic pipe if possible for where
the injection is. I think methonal might be a corrosion issue with aluminum

 

Hmm. Didnt think it would rust.
Going to research some more. The rubber in the intake seems just too flimsy

 

Also. The controller I have is going to be my boost gauge as well. It is the snow performance vc50 controller.

John, give me an idea as to where to mount these things. I'm having trouble finding a place to mount the pump and the reservoir. I cant use the windshield washer reservoir because it can freeze in the winter.

 

Look at my location for the pump, that’s a perfect spot, yes you can absolutely use the windshield reservoir and add a low level sensor. Windshield wiper fluid Blue is like 20 percent methonal that is rated at 20 below zero.
Snow Boost juice which I use is 50 percent methonal and will not freeze, probably good to 40 below zero or more I guessing.
I went through my first wi ger last year and had NO freezing issues

 

Where you have your pump I have what I believe is the abs unit. I see some brakes lines connected to this device as well. Also, what I meant about the reservoir is that I cannot use the stock one, because it will freeze in the winter. I only have space for 1 or the other. Either the pump or the snow performance reservoir. My current dilemma

 

Why are you saying it will freeze, It will NOT freeze as long as you have Boost juice or blue windshield fluid that is 20 below zero. Both these fluids have methonal and methonal does not freeze

 

Will have to use boost juice during the winter months. I have no other choice than to use the stock windshield reservoir. The blue stuff that is rated for -20 freezes here in jersey.

 

Next upgrade along with a rebuild being done now is getting the supercharger ported, the input and exit sides like this one below

hey, where do you get the methanol decals from? is there a website where you can customize these?
Finally got everything hooked up and running. Currently have a #1 nozzle in there and no ping. Thanks for all the help as always!

 

Im also giving it a treat and using boost juice, im sure thats going to get expensive after a while. But only want to run it during winter months. blue washer fluid during summer months.

 

If you are using a number 1 nozzel you might get 1000 miles per gallon.
I get about 400-500 miles per gallon with a numbet 2 nozzle and I'm pushing my engine alot

yea i am currently daily driving it with 300+ miles a week. I'll check the level on a weekly basis. With the stock pulley i am rarely in boost unless i gun it.

 

Its easier to add the low level sensor and use your trip meter. Depending on how hard you run the supercharger in boost will depend on how far a gallon will go.
My methanol starts
at 4.5 pounds up, so if I drove under 4.5 pounds of boost I would not use any methanol

 

The controller I have it's from snow performance and it's also a boost gauge and notifies you when the level is low. It's their vc50 controller
