Yea I’m personally not a fan of sit ins... they seem better suited for rapids. For fishing you can outfit the sot with accessories/gear. I added a pole holder to mine located between my knees while sitting. It can be adjusted up,down,left,right, great for trolling.

 

Just be sure the SOT is easy to stand in. Mine is a sit on top and about all I can do is stand up to pee. Can’t really cast standing its just too tippy. Its stable when sitting down though

 

There really is nothing to get a hang of. You just cast alot over the shoulder. Its just a flick of the wrist. Youre gonna be in a kayak now youll be so much closer to what you want to fish you don’t need the distance all the time

Things to consider: budget, how you'll transport it, how you'll store it. What is your weight plus weight of all gear to carry along (cooler, rods, tackle, sonar, battery, etc.)? Don't exceed 70% of the stated weight capacity of the kayak, or performance and safety margins suffer. Budget for a good, light paddle and PFD. Sit-inside or sit-on-top? I have a Native Ultimate Tandem 14.5 (sit-inside) and Viking Profish Reload (sit-on-top), there are advantages to both.

A relay?

 

Could be but I THINK its the horn itself. Not sure but the horn doesn’t work with the panic button either. Might order a replacement horn and see whats what. When my wheel bearing went out I had to rob a bolt from the engine bay that held the horn in place. I apparently forgot to reinstall said bolt and the horn has been bouncing around for like 2 weeks. Im hoping thats it. Ill check more tomorrow when its light outside and I can get in there with a multi meter. For now Ill watch a video on how to do the clock spring just in case

 

Well, if the relay is bad then you will never get a horn. If the relay is good then you’ll hear a faint “click” from under the hood when you push the horn button and you’ll know it’s not the relay
