    Someone wanna explain why my temp gauge is in the middle? Trucks been sitting for 3 hours now I went to the gas station maybe a 8 minute drive. I’ve owned the truck 2 years now and it’s always been at the highest a qauter way up

    to know for sure get a scan tool of some sort that reads live data, see what your coolant temps are VS the gauge.

    the reality, if shit goes south quick, the gauge will be the last thing to tell you..... a slow heating event, a firm maybe.

    temps on my ‘08 w/277k range from 185°-195°, gauge doesn’t move, same with my 3rd gen 4Runner
