Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
While driving in a straight line while you feel the vibration put it in 4wd. If vibrations go away it's the drivers side needle bearing. A lot of people experience it after a lift. The best fix is an ECGS bushing to replace needle bearing.

I had a problem with my TSS , dealer replaced the sensor. It threw a bunch of codes. Two months later it was acting up again, it would shut down in brite sunlight. Took it back to dealership, it was showing no codes. The dealership talk to Toyota Egineering Tech Support. They say it is seeing something it doesn’t understand and defaults to off. Cruise still works in the non-adaptive mode. It will also do this if dirty, mud, or covered in snow. AHH the learning curve of new tech.

I Just bought myself a 2019 TRD OR DCSB and I've been experiencing wind noise from the passenger side front door mirror area starting at around 40mph. I talked to the dealership service manager who told me that all the trucks sound like that and I'll get used to it which we all know is unacceptable. I told the customer relations manager about the T-SB-0170-16 for front door wind noise. She told me there is nothing associated with the VIN. Anyway, I want to print out the TSB and bring it to them but when I look up the TSB on the website the latest applicable model year is 2017.

What's the next step from here to get this resolved?

I know most people would just say turn the radio up but, coming from an '02 Prerunner, I do enjoy silence on occasion.

Thanks @JaCado. I told them about it but it says model years 2012-2017 so my concern is that they will tell me it does not apply.

My two day old silver 2019 had what appeared to be stains in the paint, on the hood and roof that could not be washed or polished off. Contacted the dealer and they told me this is a common issue.
Seems the white plastic film/protectant they apply at the factory to protect the paint in transport causes this. Moisture gets under the plastic and somehow adheres itself to the paint. The careful observer can see these defects in bright sunlight or a quality flashlight at the correct angle.

The fix?? A hairdryer or careful use of a heat gun. I tried it and would not have believed it if I had not done/seen it for myself. The "stains" disappeared in less than 30 or so seconds with the application of heat.

FWIW in case you find yourself in the same situation. The dealer DID say I could bring it in to be taken care of, but my luck they would drop the heat gun on the hood causing real damage.

I did not take pics of the stains removed since, well, they're gone!

    Enjoy!

Does anybody know if the first page, mainly the problems/issues from factory still apply to 2018s? Curious if there is a more updated version of that list hidden somewhere in the 139 pages?
    Thanks

    Welcome to TW.
Should be primarily the same. Issues with with early models are persisting through to the 18's and 19's.
Some things may not apply due to the early model won't have that feature anymore or the new model got a more refined version.

I had the shifting TSB done but never got the under hood sticker. I later inquired about it and got no reasonable response. But the shifting was vastly improved so sticker not needed, but bothersome that they didn’t follow all the steps.

    Hello all

    Just picked up a 2018 Tacoma 4x4
Do any of you have any concerns over the aluminum bodies, I can watch my hood shake, I love the truck, once you learn to drive it auto 6 or man 6 I’ve dented this truck twice while working now that
Would happen even if it was steel, but it waves the aluminum up the fender good old fashion American steel would have been better.
