They bend also but can't really do a trail repair. You get some really good quality ones like Methods, SCS, or KMC XD or race series they are pretty damn tough and hold up well. There are other aluminum wheel manufacturers also that are built to take the abuse. But you are going to pay to play for the aluminum wheels compared to steel. Like those steel you posted you can buy 2 of those for one of my Methods.

Well shit. Rotating my tires and this fell off of my passenger side rear drum cover. Are these weights used for balancing??

Kinda sorta lol. You'll be fine do they work IDK really. I've seen a shit ton of cars and trucks where they had fallen off and the customer didn't complain of a vibration. If you get a vibration just go get some new drums (they probably won't even come with them). There are a lot of vehicles that don't even have them. Just remember auto manufacturers biggest concern is customer comfort and NVH is their biggest nemesis so they do everything they can to combat that and make even a truck "ride like a Cadillac"

Yeah I drove around for about 10 miles after rotating/torquing my tires and didn't notice any vibe at all and that was going up to 55mph. Maybe I can get @EatSleepTacos to tack weld it back on for me. :D

Eh fuck it I wouldn't worry about it but that's me. I'm still/will be again riding around on a dented up gouged rear drive shaft :anonymous:

Meanwhile instead of looking for a new on I am looking at ordering TC front suspension gussets, rear shock relocation, and chevy 63 conversions. :D

Only advantage is if you do a shock relocation otherwise you're stuck with pretty much the same flex as stock. We had a good discussion on this in the Lair.

Don't know if you saw the lair on Friday but I think we came to the consensus that it's "worth it" of you plan on 14"+ shocks.

Great minds think alike. I always thought that and I really enjoyed the discussion and people's input in the Lair. It seems to be the one place that discussions can be had without turning into a pissing contest unlike other areas of the forum.

I was thinking the archive garage set up because I have some plans for the bed and since they already go to the top of the wheel well and have bolt provisions in the top of them then they'll work to my advantage.

Never hurts to buy it in one place!

My brother is using the Ford towers since he has everything else; cost effective.
