    I think we are all forgetting that the Mustang blowers that these aftermarket upgrades are made for are built for a different theory of operation blower. Whipple and TVS blowers physically produce more heat so intercooling for those over a roots blower are much more critical to reduce charge temps, as twin screw design produces more heat than roots does.

    At 112° OAT Going up a mountain in a headwind with 5 psi boost for 5 to 10 mins I had 200° pre intercooler and 140° post intercooler temps. 60° delta is pretty good for our little intercooler.

    I got the little port because the old one leaked and I thought maybe it needed an overflow. I remember swapping emails with Figg regarding that. Now I think it would be fine without it. It’s worked fine.

    The figs can has a normal radiator cap right? So it needs the overflow port open to be able to allow high pressures to vent. The ford style cap that comes stock has both a pressure relief and a vacuum relief. I think we have the old style caps. Ford released a newer version that fixed a lot of the leaking issues that the first one had. Here’s a new versus old for those that care. I have not tried one these for the record, but might be nice to try.

    It is a normal cap. You can order the reservoir with and without the overflow.

    My recent project which was mostly done two hours at a time when my kid was napping on weekends lol.

    Battery relocation to back of rear passenger seat

    Which led to relocating catch can (which I may tweak or move again), installation of a remote jumper station under hood, new larger aluminum intercooler reservior and higher flow pump and Roostfactor's pulley wrap mod.

    Yup, we had a huge dump a month ago already and then nice weather for three weeks and some snow started flying the last couple days. Drifting season!
