Going to Atlanta ID for an overnight camp/fishing trip. Going north of Bliss up hill city road. Then through Feathervile to Atlanta. Camping next to the river. Hopefully. Meet at sportsman warehouse Saturday the 3rd in Twin Falls at 9:30 am. All are welcome. Hope to see you there.

Same, Twin. There are a quite a few of us in the TF area. We need to get a meet set up. Run trails, or just some group pics and get to know some of the community in person.

OK, I have never even set foot in Idaho. Originally from San Diego but now living near Nashville. But the last few years I have been wanting to move to Idaho so dang bad! I talked about it so much my wife says no more Idaho talk. I downloaded about 60 Idaho photos from Flickr and use them as screen savers on my work computers. You all or so lucky!

My wife was the same way! Take her on a trip to Boise! Drive up to Sun Valley (the lowman way) and stay a weekend up there. She will fall in love with Idaho! My wife did.

I grew up about an hour west of Boise right on the Oregon border. The entire time I lived there I kind of couldn't wait to leave, now I keep wanting to go back. Boise is about the perfect sized city, which unfortunately looks to be changing size-wise for the worse. I love the Owyhee Mountain area, the Sawtooths, and all of the rivers. If you are serious about moving there I would find out what it is that is holding your wife back and do some research to see if you can alleviate her concerns. The one issue may be related to the politics of the state. If you are conservative you will fit in fine anywhere, if you have more of a liberal lean to you you will probably want to stay in the Treasure Valley area if you are looking for people with a similar mindset.

    Looks like NY plates.

Which trials bike is that? I met a few people in here in socal that ride them but we're always out on trails and the 300xcw sorta does it all

I've been lazy and haven't changed my plates over yet. The trials bike is a Vertigo. I actually take mine out on trails and single track all the time but it's definitely not the best for it.
