Yep dealers will often swap tires (and wheels in some cases...) Which is great for getting the tires /wheels rolled into the payment... Unfortunately it means they are WAY more expensive than if you buy them to yourself, unless you negotiate the price down to offset the difference

I saw one recently with K02s and the dealer added cost was about $500 higher than if you drove from the dealership to a Discount Tire and had them installed... No Bueno!!!

Anyways WELCOME! Congrats on the new Voodoo Blue Taco! (Easily the best color available... ok maybe I am a tiny bit biased)

Edit: I am actually working with my dealer to include 17" 4R TRD PRO SEMA wheels and Nitto Terragrappler tires in my negotiated sale price :bananadance: well see if it works...

Curious how the FJ did on trade? They are super hard to find in Ohio right now and really commanding top dollar.

Beautiful truck. That snorkel would take some getting used to.

Charge more but it’s easy and done. Benefit may not always outweigh the cost but it makes sense some folks just want it paid and done.

Seen lifts installed by factory for a few grand over standard price...but then they’re not on here stressing out about fitment, etc.

This is a very stupid question. I’m sarcastic and facetious a lot but this time
I’m serious. Is the extended air intake implying you can take this thing under water like up past the hood? Or is it just a looks thing? I genuinely don’t know.

That's awesome!!!! I test drove a TRD Pro, but it was out of my budget range. Great truck though! I'm sure you'll love it!

It’s a desert air intake, not a waterproof snorkel. It helps get clean air for the motor by taking the intake further from the ground and flying dust.

NO, don’t do that. It draws cleaner air up higher, dust. It also makes it less likely to draw water in a high water situation . Never take it in water above the rocker panels.

Makes sense. I really didn’t know. I’m a mall crawler in Ohio. Wouldn’t have considered desert conditions. OP - you gonna do this thing proud and take it in the desert/woods/creek?

FJ did very well. It was a 2013 with ICON stage 2 suspension, got 5g less than I paid for it 5 years ago.

I've been looking at the TRD Pro as well, what made you go with the pro over the offroad?

OP, that picture is in the dealers showroom and not your garage. If it is your garage can we get more garage pictures?
