His words were “it’s on the PowerPoint you have to watch to come here, you should know.” So I told him I didn’t plan for fucking stupid rules that put me and others at risk and walked to my car. Haven’t been back since

They make you watch it before going to the range. There’s a building you have to go in before heading to the range

I will have to check out holly shelter, though based on the responses it is bicycles not motorized bikes, bummer. :bananadead:
    We enjoy hiking though.

Mac's is delicious, been there a few times and will continue to frequent.:D

Also hunting is an enjoyable pass time of ours. We have not researched much on hunting down here with being busy 'settling'. We hunted a lot up home and have been itching since moving down.

Side note: is it true one can not sell game in NC, commericilzed from a butcher? IE: venison? We thought of just going to a processing butcher and getting steaks and burger, but I heard that is not done here. o_O

Texas is the same way. You can give it away and ask for donations but that’s it. Not sure about NC

@amRRussel do you work at Enterprise? I’m feeling like a stalker now haha

I saw a truck that looked like yours there when I was picking up a rental this morning

Anyone in Wilmington running 235/85/16? I am getting new tires mounted here soon and will tell them I want the old ones if someone wants a spare. ST Maxx with a few mm left of tread, not bald/smooth. There will be 3 available as I will be putting one as a spare under the truck. I will work on getting a picture.

Edit: Pictures all of the same tire. All similar as they were rotated on the regular. :evil:20181126_170643.jpg 20181126_170607.jpg 20181126_170520.jpg 20181126_170548.jpg

Same size. Will go to 255/85 once I can afford rims to offset the weight. Gotta keep the 4cyl happy and go-assy.
I am going to try falken wildpeak at3w this time. Decision based mostly on price and when I lived in the snow belt I looked in to them so I figured why not try them out this time around.

Yea I hear you there. I had the 255s on my Tacoma with the 2.7. Thankfully it was the manual so that helped in the mountains but it took a toll on the low end torque. The LCE header helped a bit on the highway with the loss of power.

The work around is you pay for the processing services not the meat itself.

My current setup, minus the 255's. :D

Have to keep that in mind.

I saw the Prius laying close to the Tacoma for protection. Didn't realize that was yours. Must be the "embarrassed to be seen in a heep" car, although Prius is on par.

He is in SC I am not sure about NC and purchasing venison from a butcher. I have taken deer to FDA approved butchers to be able to donate to hunters for the hungry. You may try and contact a butcher and inquire more about it.

Lol it’s a corolla, not a Prius

It’s my company car. I drive it to keep the miles off the Jeep and because the Jeep sucks to drive around in town when I’ve got to run clients or other professionals around

Anyone know of any off-roading/camping spots in the area, aside from various beaches?
