That could be, I'm a small guy so I never had issues getting into tight spots like that. A lot of people are afraid to get dirty to ive noticed, just gotta tell yourself to do it and it'll happen lol

I must've scored one of the last ones. They definitely had a good sale run, I'm sure they'll have more in stock soon.

I’ve kept arguing with myself since people started saying they were good quality. I don’t need one but really want it lol. I sent them a message asking if and when they’ll be back in stock. Hoping they don’t jack up the price since people are figuring they seem to be good

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Think I'm going to keep an eye on Ebay and snatch one of these up too. Maybe my buddy @TacoJohn4x4 can help me install it, since he's already got experience

I’d love to get an eBay coupon for 10-20% off for Black Friday/cyber Monday and them be back in stock. Would make me feel better about spending money on a totally unnecessary mod for me currently lol

I don't care much for the '4x4 snorkel' sticker that it came with, lol.

Did you do it with the wheel off? At one point I could almost get it but my elbow was being blocked by the tire so I think I can make it work if I do it next time I have my tire off.

What’s the difference between this fitting a 5vz and a 3rz? Both have an air box in basically the same spot with a baby snorkel in the fender well.

Asked my wife to do it for me but she took one look at how dirty my arms were from rubbing against the tire and said 'no way'...so either way I'll have to try it with the wheel off

what? That's weird...I'm guessing (hoping) they're only referring to the one kit you had ordered and not the kit in general lol

Hopefully they'll have more in stock soon for you guys

That sucks!! Hopefully to give them the benefit of the doubt, there was something wrong with that last one and they wouldn’t ship it

My template had the perforations made about 1/8 of an inch off to the left of the lines that they should have been on (for the holes)...I wonder if maybe the template got messed up. If that were the case, I'd just ask them to sell it to you at a discount and take it anyway...can probably come up with your own template based off of our's

hmm...I hope someone gets a more detailed response as to why they're suddenly "defective". Having installed it, I can't imagine why...they are nearly identical to the ARB snorkels except for the small drain holes for water around the head of the snorkel. That can easily be done with a drill, though.

So in response to my questions - what was defective and how long before they have stock, the reply I received :

    upload_2018-11-11_21-23-57.png

Sounds like it was just these last few units - or someone would have noticed when installing I imagine...

    :annoyed:
