Just headlights off rockauto... forget which ones but someone recommended them and they are about $80 for the pair (the most expensive of the choices). They fit quite nice and they say “Eagle eye” on the box. Great fit and look good!

Changed the wheel bearing on the fiance's prius today. Not the tacoma, but still some Toyota work.
The little connector for the ABS was a pain to get off. Otherwise went smooth.

Not sure what you mean by the "courtesy light fade". Both the dome lights and the map lights work fine. The gauge lights do respond to the dimmer. I don't think 1st gen Tacomas have side view mirror courtesy lights, maybe a local package or the limited package?

After a year of them sitting on a shelf I finally got around to installing my ADS coil overs with the new bracket.

With the original setup I would rub the hell out of the reservoirs and I even hit one and bent the bracket up pretty bad once when turning into a steep bank.

    This should solve the issue.

Matthew at MCM has these mounting brackets if anyone is interested.

Yes it is. You’ll also need new hoses and fittings, need to tap the holes that the brackets use and I had to take them to a sheet metal shot and have them slightly bent so they wouldn’t contact the inside of the fender.

How much did the brackets run, if you don't mind me asking? I noticed that they show them with the 90 degree fittings on both ends of the hose, I'm hoping I can make it work with a straight fitting on the reservoir, as I just had the hoses changed and they weren't cheap.

Didn’t do it today but I’ve noticed that I now have the fly-in-gauge-cluster mod, so that’s good...I guess.

Matt hooked me up for free. I also bought oil and rebuild kits though. It was a test run to see how they work out on a Tacoma. I’ll have to make a review thread tomorrow and include everything that I had to modify to make them right. It took me quite a bit of time to make it work.

And you won’t be able to make it work without new hoses. Those hoses are not super flexible either. I had a really hard time myself with this. I have access to hydraulic hose, fittings, and a crimper and I went through a few sets and spent like $100 before I found a way to make it work.

But honesty you do not need the quality of hose ADS uses. There is very little pressure in them and if you look at king or Icon they both use what seems like more flexible cheaper hose and fittings.

I have same mod. I had a fly in mine flying around for a week before it died. Everyday I see it in my cluster, makes me want to take it apart just to get that dam fly out lol

Good to know, thanks. I may look into other options, or wait until they've worked out some of the issues you're describing. It seems like there is no "perfect" place or method to mount reservoirs on 1st gens.

Mine have a 90 fitting a a 45 fitting on the resivior side. No rubbing etc but I specified I wanted them like this when purchased

Just mounted with the universal weld tabs that let you put the hose clamps behind... zero issues

Yeah that looks pretty similar to how the MCM brackets place the resi. I may fool around with them in that location. I previously had them mounted above the UCA, but let's just say that's not a great place for them.
