Zombie Apocalypse Show isn't Real Enough (The Walking Dead on AMC)

Following both TWD and FTWD is like watching a morbidly deranged Back To The Future Trilogy.

 

That would be their best bet in my opinion. With all the short films and segments coming I think they are just watering down the storyline and taking away from the original name

 

The Whisperers are finally here.

 

They just did a time warp in FTWD which lost me as a viewer (I can't be the only one), they will lose many more with another warp. IMO

 

What was your issue with the jump? I thought it kinda needed to happen

I’d rather they had spent more time showing the initial outbreak rather than jumping past it to begin with.. but that’s my only beef with them.

 

It wasn't just the time jump (the producers said they wouldn't do), it's too slow and not moving in any direction. It just lost my interest. My wife and I watched FTWD through the 4th episode this season and we were done.

Yeah, spending half of the first few weeks of the outbreak out on a boat didn't seem like the best way to tell that story.

FTWD had a good concept with the start of the breakout thing and then just blew right past it and straight into the post apocalypse setting. It felt like they caught up to TWD's timeline by the end of the first season.

 

No they caught up to TWD, time wise, at the beginning of this most recent season.

 

Obviously, but my point was that watching it felt like they already had caught up to TWD.

I’m hoping the show doesn’t just go straight into the 6yr jump Sunday. I’d like to see a little bit of people noticing jadis and Gabriel are missing. And maybe Gabriel returning and reporting on Jadis radio conversation and saying that they could go “somewhere”.

 

They are so get ready... Rick is probably with the NWO.

Just for this season..at least that's where it stands presently..

 

Not sure where that one is going. I'm surmising the time locked up and having little human contact might have really messed with his mind.

 

I started watching Fear again the first half of this season..mainly because I went to the Survival Sunday screening this spring. Gave it about 3 more episodes and tapped out.
