Haha. Yup. Eff that. Trigger finger sucks. Mines ok now. But it took about 4 days and a big lady who should have been named Olga to open them with a ruler

Is it an outpatient deal or can I get it done in the ortho office?

I saw a hand specialist. My hand was locked solid. Took a whole day yo just get a ruler between my finger tips and palm. Then a few more days of me sitting , biting on a popsicle stick while she leaned back and tried prying them open. Then it was about 3 weeks to be able to use them again and get the swelling down

 

Just found out that to get the trigger finger "released" it's an outpatient surgery I thought maybe they could just do a digital block and release it in the office.

 

That makes things a bit more complicated. Sorry to hear that

 

Mine isn't too bad. I just have a little discomfort. I can still pick my nose

My biggest fear in life is breaking both my wrists at the same time....for obvious reasons

 

I just don't like being put to sleep. Last time they put me to sleep, I thought I couldn't breathe and tried to give the "chocking" sign.....I remember them holding me down until I went out I wasn't even tubed. It was just a conscious sedation

 

Better hope the GF is ok with wiping your ass.

 

I've got a staple gun and a steam cleaner. I'll just fix a towel to the hand rail.
