I have done nothing to the Tacom or our newly acquired Venza, which need a good detailing. The smoke from the Fires 70 mile away is so bad here it is not healthy to be out side especially being older and have lung problems from smoking for 40 years. On another topic what do you call the black strip across the roof of the trucks need to replace one, got loosened in the car was and flew off somewhere

Added some dash mounts from Balls Out Offroad, pretty easy to install. Need to test fit everything BEFORE re-installing the entire dash . Mistake on my part but got them installed. Then put ram ball and accessories on them. Love it, now my phone isn't down in the cubby and I can control GPS/Music without fumbling. Also took out my shovel and fire extinguisher mounts and readied them for paint. also picked up a larger fire extinguisher from Costco.

Tomorrow Best One of Indy is going to patch, mount, and balance my punctured tire from a previous post on my spare steelie so I have a matching size spare.

Duhhhhhhhhh, I always wondered (years ) why my truck did not have the muti disc cd player. So just for Sh & Giggles I thought what the hell, pressed the load button and todahhhhh it took another and another I quit at 5 not sure if that was the limit, but all these years I never knew. Just an Ole Fart I guess.

Third alignment of the year but the truck is finally riding like it should. I got one after the lift, after new tires and now after removing the overload leafs. I went to a Sullivan Tire for the first time and am pleasantly surprised. Staff was kind and competent. Results show in how the truck rides. I usually avoid chains but decided to give this one a try since it's down the street. Also going to do a quick clay bar and wax since it's nice out and get it done before the snow comes.

I was thinking about doing this, but was afraid oil would seep out of the tube for weeks after each oil change and leave oil stains everywhere. Did you plug the end of the tube or is this not a concern where you park?

It really looks great, but every time you post a picture I think to myself; where the heck do you put your cups? I don't go anywhere without my 32oz Yeti filled with water, or if the wife is driving some other beverages. Oh and i really want a pedal commander, those things are sweet!!

It's part of the xsp-x trim package (it's a southeast Toyota add on). I've seen a few guys in the south order them but the dealers are weird about it and require the VIN to match and all that. If this thing comes off in one piece I'll be posting it up for sale

A few mods here and there and counting....
Found out someone keyed my passenger side (both doors). Not sure when it happened as I hardly ever look on that side and my friend pointed it out to me. Wasn't mad about it, just disappointed as I've always park further back in lots just about everywhere I go. Threw some 3m rubbing compound on it and it buffed right out. People suck.

You're lucky. Someone keyed my driver side and it didn't buff out. Had to get the door repainted. You're right people suck.

You know, I still have an old reel to reel player and the sound on that thing is fantastic. The 8 tracks were the automotive version of that audio system, and their output is by far better than any current system. CD's are lossy by design and MP3 is even worse. 30% of the sound goes right in the trash.

Considering what they do to produce music these days it's not much of a loss.

Did a quick clay bar and wax while the weather is good. Probably could have done a better job but I ran out of clay and I'm just trying to get a quick one in before winter. I'll get it professionally done eventually.
