Red Dead Redemption 2

That's where I am right now. I've only had a couple hours to play and usually just go out and explore. My weekend is almost here so going to try to run some story soon.

 

Ha glad i didn't just shoot the klan cross burning. Waiting had its reward

I have always stumbled across them south of Braithwaite Manor near the panthers.

More collectible/card hunting today/tonight covered the entire saint denis area from Rhodes east to the city and north to the legendary boar. Got ambushed by some crazy swamp people lost the boar and perfect black bear in the process of getting killed by them.

Did a couple of the stranger missions in the city. Tempted just to finish chapter 5 now i don't like the city or swamp

I finished Chapter 6 on Saturday then the Epilogues last night. Pretty amazing. I wish they would've just tacked on RD at the end. I'd like to replay it with RD2's platform.

 

The dysfunctional Klansmen has been my favorite part of the Saint Denis area so far!

 

I couldn't track the legendary moose last night and figured my game was bugged so I set up camp and roasted some meats, two of the shirtless backwoods fellas came out and held me up at gunpoint. Didn't even realize that could happen while I'm in camp by the fire. Was pretty intense, dispatched em both with my pistol but man it kinda freaked me out. My biggest complaint is why the heck didn't they included increased storage capacity for pelts on the larger horses. It would give us an incentive to use something besides a standard/race horse...I easily spent more time running back and forth from the trapper than I actually did hunting.

 

Find a horse with a cart attached. You can load up much more pelts on the cart than you can on a horse. No more back and forth to the trapper...

 

What!? Really?? I would've done that so long ago. I was close to stealing a boat and seeing if I can use it to load up waterfowl and other animals along some of the lakes.

 

You can steal a train and load that up with pelts too.

 

Need help. I accidentally killed my horse while in the middle of a side mission in Rhodes. I wasn't far from the mission destination so took the saddle and walked there (catching the "tiger" for Margaret). I am supposed to hop on the animal handler's wagon to continue, but I can't load my saddle on the animal-cage wagon with tiger in the back. If I drop the saddle and leave it, can I reclaim it later at a stable, or will I lose all my weapons and such?

 

Are you referring to big animal pelts? Like elk/bison size where it’s rolled up on the back? Or smaller pelts? Cuz smaller pelts like deer you can fit a bunch on

 

Yea the big animal pelts, I got the legendary moose and elk yesterday and was kinda pissed I had to run back and forth between kills to offload the pelts. How long do carcasses remain in good shape? I might steal a buggy today and go load up on some of the animals needed for the camp upgrades.

 

Should be in the stables and you won't lose anything other than pelts that were stored on the horse.

 

Ah. Ya that’s always a bummer. Was gonna do the same thing on hunts but remembered it’d be too big. That wagon stealing is a good idea though. Not sure how long carcass last. I wanna say a day and then it starts to go bad and probably 2 days it’s rotten. I dunno for sure though

 

I threw dynamite at them when I found them, killed them all lol

 

Those guys did that to me and told me I can't camp there, I got up and my pistol decided to disagreed with them, went back to sleep after I looted there bodies.

 

As long as you skin it first then just drop the pelt it should be there for a while unless you start a side mission or something. If you just leave it unskinned then it will be ruined by scavengers.

 

You should have let the scene play out. They light the cross as they initiate a new member, and the guy catches himself on fire. Then like 3 guys try to help him, and they catch on fire. The rest run away.

Later, you see the grand wizard and 2 others struggling to erect a cross again. If you ask them what they are doing, it distracts the 2 lifting the cross, and it crushes them to death.
