Red Dead Redemption 2

Haha same, out of all the gangs I've encountered so far those guys creep me out the most. I found someone yelling for help at one camp and walked up to the tent and two of them came out with guns raised. Pretty sure one said he's gonna make me squeal like a pig. Freakin deliverance reference gave me chills, pump shottied both in the face.

 

It drops regardless.

 

Ah ok, I killed them separately since I wasn't sure. I had a perfect elk skin already on the back of my horse and when I saw I couldn't take two I decided to run back and deliver the moose before going back to kill the elk.

 

I found myself lugging one over my shoulder a couple of times. The trapper far west on the map has the most variety of animals in the area and I don't have to travel far to get a kill.

 

Did that too. And then threw their bodies in the water

 

Damn, now I am disappointed I killed them all

 

Ah I haven't found that trapper yet. I've been having to ride the train to Saint Denis.

Sidenote, my horse follows, his dumb ass got trapped under the train the last time and I had to sit and watch the train repeatedly run over his body with this horrible "squish" sound each time the wheels rolled over. Traumatizing...

 

He’s in the middle of a market.

 

What's the town name? I'll go explore it today so I can go to him if he's closer.

 

There are multiple trappers one out east near Van Horn. One just south of Valentine. Two more up in the mountains north of Strawberry. Those two at least did not show on the map until I found them. If you see smoke stacks out in the woods go investigate. Hunting up there is not bad cause there are tons of animals and trappers are not far. Hunting above Rhoades or the far north in the Grizzlies east however makes for a long ride

 

Guess I need to map them out tonight. I found a guy in the woods yesterday with pelts and all, discussed hunting with him and thought he'd end up being a trapper resource but then he just got up and left the camp

 

Saint Denis.

 

Did a side mission to fish for a legendary fish. I hope all the legendary's don't take as long as that one did.

 

That's the one I've been using. I assumed there was another one since he's in the southeast corner of the map.

 

I'm 7/13 on the legendary fish, definitely a little more time consuming than the animals. But at least you just have to mail them versus visiting the trapper.

 

He’s suppose to travel around but I have never seen him other then there

 

1. Northwest of Strawberry
2. Northeast of Riggs Station
3. Near the Lower Montana River
4. East Section of Saint Denis City
5. Southwest of Annesburg

So maybe I’m missing something with this trader confusion, but why don’t you just turn on the legend in the in game map? It tells you where they all are.
