First fillup post snorkel went from 16 to 14.8. I attribute this to a heavier foot. Really liking new found power with the cooler air. I will drive normal this tank an post those results.

Curious to see your results. This has been my main reason for holding up on a snorkel since I already get pretty low MPG’s (15 - 16 on average).

So please forgive me if I've asked this question before, but how do you like your trutrac? I am curious how smooth the engagement of it is whenever it locks up, or if you ever notice the tires chirping whenever you're turning? Pretty much have my mind made up that this is going on my list of future mods, but was wondering what your opinion on it is now that you've had it for a few months

Have you read anything from Eaton/Detroit on the TruTrac? It is a posi trac on steroids. Instead of clutches, it uses a worm drive. It doesn't necessarily lock up like an auto locker on turns, but with enough centrifugal force, it applies power to the opposite wheel. It works 100% of the time rather than .01% of the time when you use a locker.

Ill post up on wednesday or thursday when I fill up.
Your forgivin:D Honestly I love it its silky smooth on turns an normal driving just like a open diff. In the dirt you feel the traction an truck kinda will slighty shudder under its engagment first couple of times then your used to it. Its by far the best traction aid besides a locker. If youve ever been in a muscle car or truck with posi its the same feeling. Works beautifully from a stand still like today its rainy or at the boat ramp no spinning or auto lsd kicking in to get ya moving.

Appreciate your review sir! Sounds like just the thing for me.. Don't want to have to bother with all the wiring and air lines of a locker.. Would much rather put one of these bad boys in and just let it do it's thing. Also, im going to come up to cota this coming weekend, so I can bring those spindle gussets for you if you'll be there. Or even if you're not, I can give them to someone in the ATX crew to take them back for you. Just let me know!

That's what I was thinking. Truck needs help putting the power to the ground. It likes to spin now..

Update 2 after 2nd tank driving normal which is a little conservative it averaged to 17.2. I am really happy with this. Its hard to stay out of the go pedal the fall air with a ramair effect feels like it pulls as hard as it did stock at speeds above 40mph.

Nice! Those are very good numbers for all your armor and bigger tires

This is what I needed to see! I try my hardest now to drive consertatively expect for the fact I drive down Hwy 130 everyday in which the speedlimit is 80 MPH. I think i'm going to proceed with ordering a snorkel and get Chris aka @Texoma to install it.
