So when we rented a Penske truck online they sent an email with a bunch of discount codes for their partner companies. One of those is SML/Simple Moving and Labor. SML is really just a middleman, but they run things pretty well! The crews I got were not from any of the national moving companies, but they showed up prepared, hauled our shit quickly, and didn't break anything. Most national companies can't even do that.

Nice. I may have been a member of a mug club at a local bar when I was working odd hours. Haven't been in years, though. These days I mostly just head home after work, unless I have errands to run

I fixed my camera. I mentioned to a friend with similar ones that the only issue was it assumes you'll wall mount it and when you rotate the image, the aspect ratio is reversed. He told me the whole lens will rotate, and sure enough it does so I fixed it today.

I always head straight home after work, even if I have errands to do. If the girlfriend doesn't drag my half-clothed ass out of the house to do it, it must be able to wait until tomorrow.

Ordered a kit! Main reason for doing my dad's truck since he won't do it or getting it done is he says at 10 years is mine so 5.7 tundra here I come. Only 9 more to go loo. Should probably do the uni filter mod too

I can go grocery shopping in 1/2 the time for 1/3 less $$ if I go without the girlfriend, though. I write up a list of what I need, stick to it, and blow through the store on full afterburner. She wants to wander down every aisle, read labels, etc. And if she finds a 'deal' she usually has to buy it even if we've already got it at the house

Chiming in on Penske: they’re legit, it was $600 to rent a 16 footer from KY to RI with AAA discount. Brand new truck, way better than uhaul quality-wise. Definitely get the truck that has a ramp or you’ll be bummin

See I'm the one who likes to go down every isle and browse. And I usually go grocery shopping when I'm hungry. So it's never cheap haha. I just really like to cook...

Yeah we rented a 12' truck and it had like 5k miles on it haha. Was pretty cheap too, and we had 0 problems with them. Agreed on the ramp.

I know I'm just messing with you. Slightly jealous...
