I got this wheel cover from the dealer, looks like the wheel skin and feels good.

First thing that popped into mind is something I saw in a car recently.

Hideous liberties that'd taken all over the car, too.

    I like that.

I'd prefer my steering wheel was thick all the way around...not just at 10 & 2.

That Wheelskins cover seems to provide a nice looking & feeling solution.

I'm not having any luck with your link, though.

I really like that. Is there a part number for this? I googled around tonight and didn't see any availability for it.

Paracord is a bad idea on a steering wheel. When it comes time for it to come off your wheel will likely be deformed. Over time it will warp and deform metal. I can only imagine what it will do to your steering wheel in the long run.

I tried to keep my promise but I got a call Monday early morning for work and I am in Silver City NM and after in El Paso till Thursday. It was dark when I left and no pictures taken.
I got mine from the Earnhardt Toyota dealer parts store on the rack. I will post pictures for sure when back in town.

This is practically the same one, I bought it right after I bought my truck 2 1/2 years ago and still feels and looks great.

Works as a wrap around the steering wheel and as back-up rope when necessary.

Yeah I had found a leather steering wheel on ebay I was going to buy and thought I would try this cheap steering wheel cover before I spent $100 on a stripped down leather steering wheel and paid the dealership service dept. to swap them out for me. So far I think I made a wise decision.

Don't know if you bought a wheel cover yet or not but I bought this one 2 weeks ago for my '19 Tacoma SR. Fits like a glove. The other one I had on my Honda CR-V and it is to small to go on the Tacoma steering wheel. Guess I should delete that link.

Thanks, I ended up getting one that worked well.
The Amazon reviews weren't that great, but I'm actually pretty pleased with it.

Yours was cheaper and I actually like it a little better. Ah well, as long as it does what it's supposed to

Did you install the Wheelskins ? If so, are you happy with them ?

They're a good sacrificial layer to keep the steering wheel from wear&tear. Pick a style you like, they all serve the same function.

Edit: and don't go spending a lot of money on one. Remember it's a sacrificial layer. It's going to get messed up, that's it's purpose.
