Haha he was climbing this side thing on the trail and didn’t make it up the first try. Idk if he was putting it into 4low or what but there was a ton of grinding going on. I think he said it was stuck in 4 high after

He was just up this past weekend visiting and delivered these wheels to me:

Now I have a funny “rubbing” sound while turning the wheel but only in reverse. I’m thinking maybe a slight upgrade in wheel spacer sizing as opposed to CMC! Comments most welcome.

Wheel spacers will make it worse. You're likely just rubbing the lower edge of the fender flare. Just take a fresh razor blade and it'll cut through with no issue

That would figure. Honestly kind of happy that I'm stuck here and don't have to drive an hour home tonight in that mess.

    A thing or two...
Holy fuck! Just spent 6 hours getting the driver side bedside on. It's not completely done. I'd say 80% or more. There are 2 more bolts that I need to put in, fit the tail light, rivet in the gas door and filler neck holder, and adjust how the filler neck is sitting in the holder in the bedside. I broke the secondary charcoal filter trying to get the stock hose off, so I just took it off completely and ran a new hose from the main charcoal filter to the pipe on the fill neck. I'll try to get some pictures to throw in my build thread tomorrow if it isn't raining.

Rubbing in reverse is pretty typical of 265/75R17. Mine did that before I put on my front bumper. With the front fender liner gone there was nothing for it to rub on.

I know I have asked in here before, but I figured I would ask one more time before pulling the trigger on new. Does anyone know of someone trying to sell used 255/85R16 tires? I'm just looking for one for my steelie as a spare to match the size of my current tires. I've checked several of the local stores that sell used tires with no joy, and there really isn't anything in the BST thread. I'm about to just bite the bullet and buy a new one. Thanks in advance for any help!
