Jumping TRD PRO

I did the Devil's Crack in my 2013 Baja MT, then in August on the way back from Karl Malone in Salt Lake did it in my new 18 TRD Pro MT completely stock then. The latter was much better (both with Atrac and rear locker engaged). My wife as spotter so don't have any video, but do on parts of the White Rim Trail in Canyonlands that I'll post soon. I've driven and owned Tacomas with the TRD OR Bilstein, and Baja Bilstein suspension, and the newer Fox, and the latter is a better suspension on washboards at speed, and rock crawling. Toyota is getting better at suspension, even though other aspects still need work. Just my opinion. BTW don't do the Devils Crack without a spotter. A number of numbnuts have gone down in the crack without a spotter, and it's an expensive tow.

I have it on my Pro and it's a liability off-road. You can't see over it. It's stupid. I'd love to trade a Super White hood without scoop for mine (2018 TRD Pro build July 27, 2018). I'll even throw in the Redline struts.

Agreed. Once you drive one of those things it makes the 'offroading' done in anything but a money-pit LT/Pre-runner setup seem like you're driving in a parking lot.

I jumped a skateboard launch ramp with my gokart when I was a kid. Knocked myself out on the wheel when landed. All my friends were laughing at me when I came around to it, they told me the air I caught was unreal. I only remember driving at the ramp.

 

I have a couple smooth jumps that I enjoy with my ZR2 regularly ;-)
