OK, since no one would tell me HOW MUCH is normally brought, I got two of the one pound packs last meet. Someone stashed one in a cooler when they started cooking, and I think it got forgotten for a while. There seemed to be as much bacon as eggs, but since @GoddardPool Mom did the cooking, ask him how much they really needed. Last time was a GOOD turn out. I don't have enough history to know any better. But if two were not enough, and four would be good, SOMEONE should let you know, and you can say
"in for two" or whatever.
I'm not going, but I'd love to know the "correct answer". It is hard to be a "mystery contributor"~

 

I could bring 4 lbs of bacon? More? Less? Grits? Lol.

 

1 pack would be fine and much appreciated. Usual people default with bacon as a bring along. No need to spend a lot on it. Community effort

@Misplaced Nebraskan does a credible job of trying to nail down attendees and what is brought. I've only been to the September meetup (OMG, no Cook! No Equipment! No food coming! I brought plates. We might be out now. I have no idea who brought what @Mrprotaganist cooked, but we had enough for the small crowd) And the October meet (I brought 2 lb bacon, have no idea where the Eggs and tortilla came from. Yet, magically there! I only got one taco, but the crowd was "juge" to me!)

I'm not really sure there is a correct answer.... But I would like to know how to be a good, and reliable contributor.

It's hard to really judge the crowd. Just bring what you can and we make it work.

Here I was thinking it was cold out here

 

We're headed to Michigan for Thanksgiving, so I am hoping in moderation of the passing fronts. Cold is OK, don't want bad weather. Already made reservations that allow reasonable drive times. Picking up son #2 at U of Missou on the way up.

 

Man, while we a bemoaning this cold and wet, give a thought to those in California. I'm not picking any place to contribute - there are many - but - disaster on the scale is unheard of. Wow.

 

Just went back to the TTC calendar submissions, and checked that I haven't voted for every photo (that is HARD), and I haven't. You are running out of time folks. BTW, I have the only truck with snow on it! Go give us all some love!
