I just want to be done.
My truck has finally settled and lets say the 600lb shock dropped 1.5" from my Steel front bumper.... I just bought the 700lb coils from King and some people have told me the ride will be stupid stiff.... I mean i have the ADJ RESIs so i dont think that will be a problem but anyone have the 700s and can give me the preload count they have to achive the full 3" lift and how the truck rides. thanks.

I have king 2.5 Resi's with adjuster and 700lb spring. I actually ran them with no weight for a long time and it was stiff. Put my cbi bumper and winch on last weekend and it is much better, but still firm. I think 700's are best for bumper, winch, and full skids.

I don't think you're supposed to go past 2 3/4" on these shocks. I have about 2 1/2" lift on the 700 and the adjustment is about where it came from factory. The bumper and winch hardly dropped the height.

    Hey there,

swapping coils to the 700’s. Would you mind getting a thread a count on each side please? I’m running a plate bumper no winch and a skid, so I believe my settings my be close to yours.

    Thanks!
