@stronghammer How do you like this for your tire carrier? Definitely going to add another mounting point further to the rear of the truck to avoid any possibility of flopping but this is the general idea.

If only there was a type of radio that had a shorter antenna

Looked like a good ride though. Dude in front had a whole crew to lift him over a rock and you just bumped over like it's nothing

 

I been reading up on that radio with the short antenna. I don't know if it is because the antenna is too short or what but they say people with the short antenna's cant find anyone to talk to.

It was a lot of fun, ready to ride again.

Agree. Wont interfere with anything and keeps everything further away from side of truck. Think 45 degree angle might be better.

 

I've had good luck before using one of the bug & tar remover products. Surprised at how good it worked. I want to say it was Turtle Wax brand and I grabbed it while working at the Dollar General to get it off the taco. Didn't;t have much choice in brands there but it worked like a charm.
