Does this replace the plastic or does it bolt over top of the plastic that is in place on the tailgate.

Replaces both the plastic inside panel and the plastic top cap on the tailgate. Some people put the stock ribbed plastic inside panel back on top of the aluminum for appearance but the stock top cap would be left off in all cases. This being raw I was probably going to put the inner panel back on rather than powder coat or paint it. Just wanted something to reinforce the tailgate, so functional.

    This thread is informative:

You’re not taking into account the EAF points for SCS wheels, that alone fetches a pretty penny

Yeah, he's missing how many patches he'd earn at parking lot meetups by owning some overlanded and offroaded SCS wheels.

We usually meet up at some point in person round these parts so call outs are generally not wanted in the local for sale section. You're not an asshole, we are just educating to be a little more polite to the other locals. Now if some Cali-mall-bro came in here, fangs out all the way

Yeah I know we meet up as I’ve met a lot of the local tw members at some of the meets. It’s also not your job to educate me, if he got his feelings hurt by talking numbers about some beat up wheels then maybe you should educate him on having thicker skin. He listed a product with a price, I commented on the quality for the price that’s it

No, how about y’all quit being softer than baby shit. I made one comment that wasn’t inappropriate to one person about something being sold that related to what was being sold. To have multiple people comment and make negative comments or smart ass comments back. But I’m the bad guy of course, take that passive aggressive shit elsewhere

Or I could comment, it is the internet. Maybe you could quit trying to penny pinch and put a reasonable price on wheels that are pretty jacked up. I’m in the market for wheels, but if I’m putting those wheels on my truck it would be for less than 500, since my truck would look worse
