Will toyota replace the problem parts with OEM parts that will fail again?

I have 2k miles in my 2018 DCSB Sport 4x4. OME 888 w Dakar rears. Front diff drop and 3/8 spacers up front. I haven't felt a vibe yet in front diff .Switched in and out of 2wd/4wd many times in anticipation, but nothing.
Hope it stays that way. The pole is split pretty even, wondering how many thousands of lifts out there haven't done the ecgs and are surviving??

That is kinda what I am hoping for. I also got the extended warranty through the dealer.

Funny thing is, right after I wrote that last post I went out to go get in my truck to go to church to help set up for VBS, and as soon as I went to pull out of my driveway that's the first thing that popped in my mind, LOL

I have it on mine, before i could get the ecgs bushing installed to fix the issue suddenly a family member of mine passed away and had to drive my truck around 650 miles round trip to arkansas. I was worried about it the entire drive, especially since everyone who has ever been to arkansas know how rough most of the roads/highways are. Made it through though.

Have same lift. Be surprised if you don’t get a vibe. Get the ECGS if you do. TSB just gives you a new needle bearing that will go out

ECGS bushing installed along with new seal and vibration is gone. Now its leaking pretty good and I hope it just needs another new seal.

    2018 TRD Sport
    5100s
    OME 884
    1-1/2" AAL
    1/4" driver side spacer

Lift net numbers post install for actual lift are

Driver Front - 1-7/16" net lift Passenger Front - 1-5/16"
Driver Rear - 2-7/8" net lift Passenger Rear - 2-1/2"

I have not measured again since I did the install (I need to see what the sag is from settling)

No rumble strip. I do have some vibrations between 58 - 67 MPH, but I believe that to be a balance issue (Tire Warehouse used a ton of weights), which will get sorted out in the next week or so. I did buy the ECGS bearing for later use (when I have the gears done in the future)

For those who replaced the needle bearing, did you need the new axle seal, or did you reuse the stock one?

Needle bearing starting acting up immediately. Replaced by dealer under warranty. Should have done the ECGS, but warranty work was free and I can always do it later.

I did the new seal. It was like $10, so I figured why not.

Is it pretty obvious that it's leaking? Did mine this weekend and didn't end up doing a seal. Crossing my fingers it won't start leaking but I've been checking every day.

I replaced the seal with the ECGS bushing and to answer your question it is quite obvious I have a leak. Was at the dealer today with the bad bearing I took out and questioned them as to why when i asked specifically for that bearing to be looked at under warranty they told me nothing was wrong with it. Of course I didnt get an answer to my question, but was made aware of the fact that since I did what they wouldnt I voided the warrenty.
