So it's been about a month and a half since my mom passed away (I'm seventeen) and ever since I knew a car had wheels on it I loved anything with a motor. I grew up workin in my dads garage doin anything and everything I could to figure it all out and I also raced go karts as a hobby. I now recently opened up a automotive tint shop in one of my dads warehouse bays and I'm doin pretty good. But my mom was always interested in me having THE truck I wanted ( I had been driving an older 325i and hated it bc I hunt and I always had to borrow my dads f250) and ever since I turned 16 I wanted a Tacoma and about two months ago ( two weeks before my mom was put in the hospital for a reaction to her chemotherapy ) she finally broke down and told me "Cole, I'm gonna get you this truck while I still can". And she bought me the truck on the spot. Made me the happiest kid in the world and I loved her for it along with that truck ( 2010 mag gray dc pre runner sport). One month after she bought me the truck she passed away in the hospital leaving me and my dad alone to find our way while she went to be with The Lord. I love my truck and I love my mom and miss her greatly.

None but I have an '85 Ford LTD (Baby LTD) that used to be my dad's squad car. My first car. Still sits in my garage, has 275,000 miles on the stock 5.0l and still does donuts. I will never get rid of that car. Hope to build it up one day.

Truck holds no sentimental value at all, but I would be an absolute wreck if something happened to my Mustang, since it was my first car and my Dad and I built it together. Still have it and always will.

Well now I want to cry after reading that. Nice story, sorry about your loss..

No sentimental value at all. It's an appliance, though I really do like it.

I have some sentimental value just because of how hard my truck was to save up for. But it sounds like your truck is very important to you and treasure it.

Mine's got some sentimental value. It belonged to a family friend who died from a stroke last fall. His wife decided she wanted me to have it after a few months and gave us a great deal. I didn't feel right modding it at first but I also wanted to make it mine. I felt like it was still his when it was stock.

I wanted a Black Toyota 4x4 std trans since 1982, finally got a brand new DC in 2006 after lots of vehicles in my possession.

To the OP: I think I'll never sell this truck, since it's a life long dream, but I believe your truck have a bigger value than mine, keep it until you die........

I would airbrush her name somewhere in the truck..........my respects to your mom...
