I’d be diggin on that as well.

My wife was gonna get me an arrive n drive dirt track day, sprint cars, midgets & modifieds. I warned that it would be better that I don’t light that crack pipe, because there will be a 600 micro sprint where her car used to be in less than 24hrs.

For those of you in California WTF :

    https://fox5sandiego.com/2018/09/21...nies-to-move-fire-related-costs-to-customers/

"Gov. Jerry Brown signed a measure Friday allowing utilities to bill their customers to pay for future legal settlements stemming from devastating 2017 wildfires, even if the blazes are blamed on the company’s mismanagement."

How does this happen with out someone stopping it and I wonder how many who live there know this ....

IKR if you screwed up a plumbing job and say had water going into gas lines or gas going into electric conduit I am betting your ass is likely to be in jail and your insurance company will be asking how many numbers to the LEFT of the decimal point is this going to cost us..

And if you can believe it, this is Calis second go around with ol moonbeam. But I don’t think it really matters anymore. Arizona just allowed a senate election to be stolen, so it is obvious to me that we have entered into the brave new world and there is only one way to correct the course, but that won’t happen. We were warned, but refused to believe it could happen to us.

What the hell? No, I had no idea. This would make twice now. They are saying that the fire in Paradise may have been the result of the utility company and they have had problems in the past.

I just find it really hard to believe the 9th Circuit court out there is one of the most liberal courts there is and usually their decisions are detrimental to any corporation located in CA how this was not challenged by class action since it was done last year is beyond me.

That is why I think it came up in some news I was reading it was signed last year and not challenged that I can find so all of the customers are going to be paying for the screw up. The article stated a woman had been contacted by the electric company about sparking .... wires or something before the fire started ... so on the face of it they will be able to pass all lawsuit costs etc to the consumer.

The last few big wildfires here were caused by downed power lines by utility companies such as pg&e , sce and sdg&e . The recent Woolsey fire theres an investigation ongoing as a sce power outage of a 116kv line . This power outage was less than 2 min prior to a 911 call of a brush fire near the same area of the power outage

    https://www.foxnews.com/us/californ...tages-minutes-before-deadly-wildfire-outbreak

I believe Gov brown signed this bill to protect utility companies from lawsuits

The bad wildfires last year and caused by downed lines the utility companies made a decision to cut power to fire prone areas during high wind events

Well before that bill comes due you may want to work OT on it :} . I get it the weather out there is nice out side of the cities is pretty country . But it has so many down sides to me it is not worth living there Laws, Cost Of Living, Natural Disaster's out the wazoo Earthquakes, Mudslides, Fire all of biblical proportions . I just don't see the allure, same as I do not see the allure to living right on the ocean, rivers etc or in other places that are constantly hit with storms that destroy everything you own. Everyone has their own preferences and some times it is not a preference it is circumstance. JMHO

You know, the funny thing is, I’m not overly fond of the weather here. I like cooler weather and I like, as you guys call it, the white chit.
We looked hard and long for what we think is the perfect land. A view of a lake, cause I don’t want to be on water either, trees, grass, and close to town but just far enough away.
