CBI sliders, ADS extend travel with compression adjuster coil overs, 9” Bilstein 5125 rear shocks, Icon Tubular UCA, Alcan custom leafs, All Pro Apex bumper and skids, NWTI rear diy bumper, 295/70/17 Cooper St Maxxs and nitro 4.88s.
Makes sense. I like options that make my hwy driving better as well. I typically drive 3-4 hours before I hit dirt so its important to me that my I compromise my on and off road driving. The 2.5 option sounds nice too!

2.5'' means wide wheels and spacers. No way around that.

I wouldn't be too caught up in the fact shocks inboard aren't stable. They are totally stabile. With shocks like that and relocating you have to spend the time and effort to valve them to your rig and how you want it to ride. Can go lots of directions with it. Just have to do the work.

Received and installed my Headwaters seat covers yesterday. Only did the front seats. I went with the multi-cam black and am really happy with how they turned out.

Now to find and order vinyl to replace the crappy carpet. I was thinking about just doing LineX on the floor inside but think I'd rather do the vinyl to keep costs down some.

Huh, don't know why, they are all off the same hosting service. I see them fine. Checked on my tablet too to make sure it wasn't something with that.

Your best bet is to weigh your truck and give Alcan or Deaver a call and tell them what you want. Just having a tuned shock will make a big difference too.

Fluid Film came in today. Hopefully coating it this weekend along with the pinch weld mod and drilling holes in the damn skid plates since the pre-drilled holes don’t line up and AP customer service is still ass. Only reason I’ve waited so long is because I don’t need them right away and I wanted to use the drill press and lift at the high school my dad works at.

    Taco Tuesday mod night!!!
So tonight I finally swapped out my OME leaf springs to my AllPro expo’s. Did it by myself and only took about 2 hours. Probably spent a good half hour checking my tacoma world updates... lol, Anyhow it wasn’t to bad.
Here are a few comparison pictures of before and after and during the prosses. End result I’m sitting about 1” higher in the rear now which matches my front. Still need to break them in and see how much they will settle.
Ome Dakers with add a leaf I had sitting at 39 1/8”, now with the all pro expo the truck is at 40 1/8”. If I had to guess I probably have about 600-700 pounds in the back of the truck at the moment (for reference).
Also the dakar leafs with add a leaf are up for sale. Only about 5k miles on them. Yes they are dirty due to the last trip, still can’t wash all the mud from the last trip. I’m sure they will clean up ok. Let me know if any one isinterested.

Check out my build thread for more pictures.

Wish you would have done this swap 2 weeks ago, I would have bought those leafs. I just put new Dakars in last Thursday.

So what's the price difference between Dakars vs Allpro Expos ? So Shubin (Alex at Seattle ) did the swap after only 5K miles on them because they sagged to soon ?

From what I’ve seen Dakars are almost half the price of All-Pro or Deaver J59s. Not sure what that means quality or ride-wise for the Dakars.

I’m looking to replace stock leaf packs myself so I’ve been trying to narrow down what I need. I read Deaver and the All Pro don’t support a lot of weight, you have to jump up to the Expo version for more weight which @Shubin did so I assume the Dakars don’t support a heavy rig well either? Don’t take my word as gospel though, I’m still trying to wrap my head around rear suspension.
