Does that kit come with both sides or is it $65 for one side?

I put Mountain bike grips on my brake lines to protect them from rubbing on the Dakar pack brackets, and then I put fuel line on my brake lines to protect them from rubbing the bolts that hold my sliders on. Also received my PCV valve for my next maintenance bundle. A very easy swap for big time peace of mind.

I have a HS 3 leaf but that retainer thing your line is rubbing on, I drilled out the mount holder for the line that originally attached to the overload and fit the bolt through that. So the line still runs through it's original holder, Now it's just attached to the AAL retainer. It may work for you maybe not. I thought it was a pretty cool idea I found out.

both sides (2 mounts, 4 bolts, 2 brackets). I thought it was one for 65$ and thought that was unreal but its a package of 2.

Good to know. That’s how I planned on mounting my HAM radio. Thanks for letting me know I was like “$65 for one is pretty steep”

Did the HIR backup light mod thanks to this thread by @crashnburn80
Ordered a three pack of the 35W bulbs here. Definitely an improvement over stock, but I think the increased draw of the new bulbs is overwhelming the wiring harness.

Also shot some fluid film in behind the light fixtures while they were out

Had a fun filled day that ended up costing me $600 when all I wanted to do was fluid film the damn truck.

I started by pulling the skids. Back two gave me no fuss. Look, I turned my once straight reinforced transmission skid into a taco!

When I went to remove the IFS, one welded nuts that the back bolt threads into broke off inside the frame. No other way to get it out than with a sawzall, so I got to go buy a shiny new toy.

    Got the bitch out finally.

Once out, I noticed my 1.5 year old steering rack was blowing it's load everywhere. I aint even mad with what I put it through. Luckily there's a 3 year warranty on it so a new one is on the way, but I had to buy it and they'll refund me when they get the old rack back. Look at that mess.

    CC103849-B18B-4BF5-BFB5-21C5C3EE6FD6.jpg

Ok back to the skids. Bought these weld in nuts and some beefier bolts and got them in. Not pretty but it'll hold. I'll reinstall skids next week after I get my new steering rack in. That'll give me time to repaint them and stuff.

While I was waiting for my paint on the new nuts to dry, I decided to clean my winch line. I'll respool it tomorrow. What a day.

No problem. I only thought of it after removing the overloads about a month ago. If you need more clarification let me know.

If you leave it leaking you won't have to fluid film.:D

LOL someone just said the same thing in my build thread. I discovered a slight oil leak as well, so I'll really be set.

I've never F.F. my truck. Frame still looks brand new. Here in AZ salt goes on food, and not roads.
