Transforming exterior of Limited into TRD OR/Sport?

I have an opportunity to buy a barely used 2018 Limited for a great price, which could easily sway my decision from hunting down a leftover 2018 or possibly a newer 2019. Unfortunately I haven’t seen it yet, but I know the owner and it has been taken care of. It’s hard to find a limited on local lots that I could go see and check out for myself. I like a mix of the OR and Sport exterior, but overall the OR would win in a looks contest with me.

From pictures, it looks like I’ll need:

    Grill
    Mirror caps
Door handles (are they covers or a whole handle?)
    Fog light bezels
Front bumper lower trim (if I wanted to make it look like an OR)
Tail lights (would switch these out with Pro knockoffs from eBay)
Headlights? Not sure of the differences here
Would be selling the stock wheels and tires and going with a new setup

    Anything else?

I know I’d debadge the whole truck!

Thanks for any input and advice!

I think headlights, tail lights, and obviously wheels are different too, and you can always add a Pro Grille

Keep it like it is or buy a Sport. I wish I could have bought a limited but the longbed was more important to me than some chrome. I do like the scoop and the sport looks best to me.

@mds08 The used Limited would be under $30k and has less than 9k miles. It has leather, sunroof, etc. I prefer the off-road over the sport.

So you want the wizardry of the Limited with the cosmetics of an OR?

If the truck is a deal, buy it. Deal with the bit swapping at your leisure after the fact.

I have a new Limited. You are better off just buying a TRD Off Road.
The Limited does not have the locking rear differential.
Why would you want to buy a Limited and spend lots of money to make
it the same as a TRD, when for less money, find a TRD and modify that one.
The TRD Off Road has the Crawl Control also.
The Limited has Chrome and now you are going to replace all that
    Chrome with Black Parts?
Unless you are getting a super deal, You might re consider.

I meant looks of the off-road. It’s obvious you know best for me and prefer a sport. Thanks for your input.

Personally I'd save my money on the cosmetics and invest in a suspension and bigger tires. That makes a much bigger difference looks wise IMO.

What is it that you want in the limited that the OR does not have? I am thinking you just want this limited because of the price.

Guys, I’m not asking for buying advice when it comes to a limited/OR/sport. I’m pretty set on buying this limited for now. I need 4x4 maybe once a year? Locking rear diff and craw control would probably never be used by me.

That being said, in my opinion, after selling some of these chrome parts, buying the non-chrome replacement will not be that bad. I was going to do some customization with a OR or Sport anyway. Just seeing if anyone had done it before and what to watch out for.

    Thanks

I think you forget about the black overfenders... very distinct look for ORs

Yes, true. I didn’t even want leather, but I’ll take it along with a sunroof for the price I would be paying. This will be my DD. I drove my old Ford 7.3 diesel for fun.

I’m cool with keeping the same colored fenders or maybe putting them up for trade on TW.
