Nah, adding studs didn't change the awesome performance, so they don't need them.

Not sure..did they ever? I don't recall seeing holes on any of the sets I've had.

Looks like LT only. Explains why the set a coworker installed yesterday didn't have them. Was thinking about a dedicated winter set.

 

Is it true that the LT tires had more tread depth and were only offered with the better 3 ply sidewall?

 

I think all of my load Cs came with 18/32.

And a friend with a rwd sprinter and a steep AF driveway up coal creek ran studded duratracs, only way to get up in the winter...so i guess i did know that they were studdable.
