I've definitely considered switching back to conventional oil. I can't tell a difference using synthetic. Maybe it's just me but idk!

I think the real benefit to syn is if you wanna run longer intervals like 10k. I do 5k anyways so it doesn’t make sense for me to keep with syn, even though it’s still cheap.

 

Yeah I tun 5k too and $46 every 5k is starting to add up.

 

Hey my 93 has 409k full synthetic since day one runs like new as long as i have no head wind or go up hills. Than again it is a 3.slow.

 

The 2.4 with an auto in the 1st gen Tacos are just as bad

Got shipping numbers for my rack and pinion and bed liner, as well as my BD lights. All arriving tomorrow! Gonna be a productive week. I think tomorrow will be bedliner prep so I’ll gut the interior again and start sanding/cleaning everything.

 

I still think you should do shag carpeting. Then you can wheel barefoot.

Yep exactly. Those things are expensive but they really take abuse. That’s not to say cheaper ones won’t work for someone, but that doesn’t mean they’re as good as maxtrax

So I was a bit premature. I was expecting both bed liner and my steering rack both from fedex. I saw a fedex truck and assumed it had both things, but only the bed liner got delivered. Whomp whomp.
