Sounds like a test of you to see if you can delegate a way/time for all the projects to get completed on time. Take a step back and see what you can do on all the projects to make them come together with the appropriate time allotted to each one. Sounds like it's a pressure test of sorts.

 

Lol i love em after last weekend. Everybody got stuck but the folks with coopers and falkens made it out lol.

 

you may be right. knee jerk reaction it feels like my arrogant boss just wants to assign everything he doesn't feel like doing down to me. I just know if it comes down to one of my projects and one of his projects needing to be due at the same time and only 1 is possible for me...I'm choosing mine. it's poor management on his part if his doesn't get done, in my opinion.

 

Bingo! You are responsible for your own before anyone else's.

 

that's my thought. even though he's my boss...I was assigned stuff by his boss, so to me that takes precedence over his. it's not an opinion of "well I'm just not going to do yours" but more of an order of operations for me and what I need to accomplish.

 

That’s called working in the private sector. If your project doesn’t get done it’s your failt. If his project doesn’t get done it’s your fault.

I used to work 80+ hours per week for this very reason

 

I refuse to live by that. I won't work 80+ so somebody else can work 40, but I'll work 60 right alongside you if we split the load. I just don't live my life following people that say "do as I say, not as I do". I prefer the lead by example types, not lead by mouth.

Well I don’t need them. So we will see if he messages me back about the wheels with Christmas coming up.

We are entering the time where people start selling off things for Christmas money, bills, and vacation.

Exactly. I mean it’s worth my price of 800 for sure, but it’s a need vs want thing for me. If I’m not getting a great deal I won’t let the “want” win lol.

 

I run 17x9 wheels. If you are going to stay at 285’s, you should be fine with a 9 inch wheel. You need to check the backspacing and the wider wheel can make you rub in some situations more and less in others.

 

I’m gonna be scowering the marketplace more for tools and yard equipment for sure.

Maybe some furniture

So he says $960 with shipping but then says no less than $1000. Only thing you’re buying here are wheels. Those tires aren’t worth messing with. My tires have 1/3 left and they are ready to be replaced. Joker lost his mind. You don’t get shipping back when selling a used item. Plus used means less than buying new. I think $800 is more than fair on that.
