Oh I'm antsy. That and I've got some hard thinking to do about an Access cab and making that what my truck is currently. Seems like things are falling into place for me to get it. Some tough decisions ahead.

Sale the trail limo stripped and just get the access cab. You dont run a big crew and still have the long bed

o_O Guess you haven't followed. They didn't diag. I had it towed in said put a motor in it it's got a bent rod. They called and gave me a quote I said do it. When they gave me the quote the guy said yep you need a motor which I already knew. We had it Diagnosed that day it happened within 15-20 min after getting off the trail. Pretty much knew it on the trail though.

I knew you had looked into it, figured a shop wouldn't do any work without further diagnostics. You keeping the old one?

Nope going back for a core don't feel like eating a few hundred bucks to keep the old one. Not looking at building a 4.0 or having a boat anchor laying around. They did kinda diag it. I told them all they need to do is to put a socket on the crank and try to turn it. One friggin cup of water. It wasn't even an epic hydrolock like I've seen before where the whole engine is full. Just one cycl at TDC

The TRD CAI is $369. @EatSleepTacos bought a sweet snorkel set up for $250.

I looked at it don't really like the part that sits outside the fender. I am looking at staying behind the fender until it needs to go up along the A-pillar
