There's no rush right now so hold off for some Christmas/New Year sales.

And keep an eye out on group buy

Even still could get the RCI ones from CT Motorsport otherwise. Just something stronger

Overland (read gay) Expo was great, met plenty of different people and made some friends. Got to learn different methods of vehicle recovery using just the ropes and pulleys. At the end, they gave us a task to slowly flip white car using just the ropes and pulleys and it was a fun challenge! The next day they put that car engine bay on fire to teach us fire prevention skills, so I got to play with a fire extinguisher :D

All the instructors are actual Camel Trophy Expedition drivers/teachers and told us many cool stories:bikewhoops:

I suggest to volunteer if anyone want's to go next year, that way you can join those classes that are only included in the VIP package (read $$$).

Some pictures, but I got busy working there and taking classes that I kinda forgot to take them lol

PS. Diesel Chevy got stuck and even lockers couldn't help there, had to call excavator in to pull him out

Yeah, I cheked it inside, you can fit 4 ppl comfortable in there!

Base camper (empty) is 10K, so I might look into it hehe. I didn’t like the vedge style campers (go fast, alucab etc) for the money they are asking it’s not worth it. Everything is cramped and you need move things around to get to other things, sleeping space is also tiny, even for me (i am short lol).

4wheel campers is the best route to go tbh.

Very good information, as that camper style has really got me interested as well.

I wonder if anyone even has it on the east coast of Canada, that thing is more popular among west side folks.

I met a guy going to ardbeg the one time who had one. Had it on a regular bed. Was pretty cool. Down the road, when Karoline and I get too old for the RTT. Mind you the only downfall is you loose the use of the bed completely. May have to build a custom drawer that the camper can sit on so I can still have storage....Thats very very far down the road.

At one of the check points the guy was like "is this a new tacoma?"
I told him it's a Canadian "Chuck Norris Edition" only available in the north
