I am sure he/she meant well but looks like they did a digital block (a bunch of lidocaine injections at the base of the finger) when really you just need a tiny local injection (if that) and the technique I have seen work best is to use a large needle and just lift the nail up. Again, its not comfortable at the time but that would save a good few hours you just described and you'd be eating cookies with Santa at midnight

Biting hangnails is a BAD habit. I would know :anonymous:

Not sure about the low landers, but with the temps and moisture last night I am guessing there is some ice out there.

    Drive safe this morning! :bikewheelie:

Mornin. I see 5-8" of snow tomorrow night and then .5" of rain on Friday. So thrilled for that commute....

Ours is supposed to hold steady for snow the whole time, but the weather guys are still hedging their bets and saying that there 'may' be some mixing.

I had no idea Paronychia was thing, let alone how much of a pain in the balls it is.

Yeah, I'm supposed to have snow starting tomorrow night around 9 and then a mix for the morning which seems strange because they are calling for a low of 10F tomorrow night.

That's tonight, I think. I know we're supposed to be down around 12 tonight, and in the low 20's tomorrow night.

They're doing the ambiguous/scare tactic snow forecast here in central ma...They forecast 3-6" of snow overnight into friday...But it's supposed to be 42F and rainy friday and then 48F saturday...So it's going to be one of those 2 inch slush piles that's all melted by the end of the day. Make sure the storm drains are clear and it won't even be an issue...
BUT SNOOOOOOWWW! Forecast...weather...eyes on TV...don't turn channel...Buy up Milk/Bread/Ostrich eggs

A dust mask is handy too. Doesn't need to be a full mask, just enough to keep the gunk out of your airways.
