Central Texas' biggest gathering of auto enthusiasts has found a new home at Circuit of The Americas! CARS & COFFEE AUSTIN is taking over Lot A for a monthly pop-up car show for the entire family. All profits will be donated to a different Austin area charitable organization each month.

For anyone new, this gathering is a community effort that we all pitch in to supply various items for our group to make our day more enjoyable and full of bacon. A list of common items is as follows:

• Plastic Ware

**As always, it is not expected for anyone to bring anything. Anything that is brought is greatly appreciated, but you are still allowed to partake in any of the snacks/tacos even if you can’t bring anything**

Post Cars & Coffee Meetup:
There will *possibly* be a trip to Bastrop to do some wheeling following the event. Departure times from COTA will likely be discussed the day of at COTA.

Post C&C there will be a range therapy session for those interested. CaptAmerica is working on scheduling this. Please PM him if you are interested and include any Pew Pew you are bringing and willing to let others try.

From Cap:
I’m still working on details with the range folks, because we’d be the first non-class they’ve had, but they’ve got nothing else scheduled that day. Interested parties please PM me and I’ll add them to a conversation we have going listing who has what so they know what they would want to pick up.

If you want to shoot something, please bring your own ammo. It sounds as if there will be a variety of calibers that people are willing to allow others to shoot. If you would like to try them, please grab some ammo of your own. i.e. if you want to try a 9mm, bring some 9mm ammo, .45 for .45, etc...

Obviously... Be respectful and thankful for those willing to share their firearms for this gathering.

Morning TTC happy hump day

 

Tomorrow's pay day and it'll hit the bank around 11 tonight.

But I just checked my paystub online and my check appears to be 14.5 hours of OT short...

 

Cold but no wind and plenty of sunshine, excellent hoodie weather!

I already emailed my supervisor. She will likely get in around 9am and check her payroll and see she forgot a day and I'll have to send her a screenshot of my paystub and she'll send it to corporate HR and they'll take over a week to cut me a paper check for the missing hours and I'll have to drive to south South Houston HR to pick it up. FML. Second time that has happened. Last time it was twice as many hours missing though. Been here only 2 months.

Front is scheduled to come in tomorrow. Will order rear when my check hits the bank tonight, if I'm awake, or tomorrow at work. Will likely wait til next check to order UCAs. Install TBA

 

I doubt I'll have the rear and UCAs in time. Plus brake lines and rear bumper and install LEDs.

 

That's all right. I checked the Amazon reviews, and it doesn't actually "launch" them. Lucy is my Dal I would be buying it for, and I don't want to hear her canine version of the scoff... GLWS.

 

I don't wanna blind oncoming traffic as I go to and from work.

Nathan's shop has a hydrolic lift and pnumatic tools. So does Nik's. I wonder if i could install my lift at one of those locations... Would be super easy.
