Humpday!

 

Good morning.

 

I'm still trying to figure out how, with less daylight and sunrise coming later and later, my work days start earlier and earlier. I keep telling the boss how we're finally catching up with backlogged projects, repairs and maintenance but things still don't seem any easier.

 

Already?

 

Morning. 16° and it feels warm out. Is supposed to finally break above freezing today and hit 37°. No wind didn't need hat, gloves or even zip up jacket taking out the dog this morning and first cup of coffee. Fingers and wrist still hurt though afraid that is the "new" me in the cold. Guess the hands are the first thing to go despite the jokes otherwise.

Have an ultrasound on my liver today to try and find where the iron overload in my body is coming from. Bumped up my medical FSA yesterday when I did my open enrollment. Noticed a lot of the patients at work are older. Guess I am an older person now too and fit right in. Still not sure who that old fucker is looking back at me in the mirror when I shave in the morning is though. Can't be me think the mirror is haunted.

Good luck Martin. Almost forgot about year around road work. 2 seasons here winter and road construction. Won't see many dump trucks in use around here for awhile now. Unless they are hauling snow out of downtown.
